It looks like Apex Legends will get a next-gen update soon. According to PlayStation Game Size, the propagandist, the PS5 version of Apex Legends has already appeared in the PSN data. The PS5 version is 80GB, not counting any other updates.
Currently, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players must play the PS4 or Xbox One version of Apex Legends, as there was no native next-gen version. Respawn Entertainment said in August last year that it planned to launch a next-generation update for Apex Legends, but did not give an exact release window at the time.

Although this battle royale game can be played on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S through backward compatibility, and the performance supports up to 1440P, EA once said in 2000 that players can expect more formal enhancements in 2021. But apparently, the original next-gen version was delayed until this year.
