Rainbow Six Extraction, which will arrive on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X starting from Thursday 20 January is now close to | S and Xbox One. But before you get your hands on the gamepad and try it out, there is still room for some surprises and some technical details. In fact, Ubisoft has announced not only that it is bringing its Ubisoft + service launched at the end of October 2020 to replace UPlay+) on Microsoft consoles.
But that in the meantime Rainbow Six Extraction will be available already on day one for Xbox Game Pass subscribers and PC Game Pass, who will then be able to play it immediately as the content included in the subscription.
The technical director of the title, Bruno Lalonde, in an interview with MP1st, then revealed some technical details that tell us how the game will run on PC and on the various consoles of the current and past generation.
We’re bringing Ubisoft+ to Xbox!! Expect more news in the future 👀
Until then, play Rainbow Six Extraction on Xbox Game Pass & PC Game Pass on launch day!

And so if on PS5 and Xbox Series X Rainbow Six Extraction will move at 60fps with 4K resolution and HDR, on more bodied PCs it can instead go up to 120fps. As expected, performance will drop on PS4 and Xbox One, with the developers’ goal of delivering a stable 30fps experience at 1080p resolution.
However, Lalonde did not specify whether on PS5 and Xbox Series X\S there will be, as is now common, different modes to choose from to favor graphic fidelity or performance, just as it is not clear what will be the differences between Series S and Series X (if there are any). Barring any last-minute announcements, we’ll have to wait until next week to find out, when the game will be available for everyone.
