At the CES Sony conference booth, the company displayed the existing Sony Vision-S sedan released at CES last year, as well as a new concept SUV prototype called Vision-S 02. Sony claims that safety has always been its number one priority, and this has not changed when manufacturing this SUV.
A total of 40 sensors are installed inside and outside the car to monitor safety conditions. Sony had released its prototype Vision-S at CES in 2020, which was designed by participants including Magna and Bosch. As of press time, Sony’s stock price has risen by up to 4.7%.
