Today (January 4), according to IGN reports, Aaron Linde, the narrative director of Halo: Infinite, has announced that he has resigned from 343 Industries to join the R&D department of Riot Games. Aaron Linde said that he is leaving to seeking new opportunities.
Aaron Linde said in a subsequent tweet: I will leave 343 Industries to seek new job opportunities in 2022. This is an extremely difficult decision. Halo: Infinity has always been one of the proudest achievements in my career. I am very grateful to be involved.
I want to thank my dear colleagues at 343 for making the best game I have ever participated in. You have made 2021 a very special year for me. Aaron Linde has now joined the R&D department of Riot Games, which is responsible for developing new game ideas.
Aaron Linde was the first to write content for game media, and then in 2008, he switched to the Gears of War series to create character story content. Later, he wrote plots for Gears of War 3 and Middle-earth: Shadow of War.
He was also the lead screenwriter of Gearbox’s Born to War and later joined the Guild Wars manufacturer ArenaNet to work on unannounced game projects. Later, he moved to Bungie to become the senior screenwriter of Destiny 2, and in 2019 he moved to 343 to participate in the project development of Halo: Infinite.
