The OnePlus 10 Pro should be presented tomorrow in China, with a possible debut already scheduled for January 11, 2022, but rumors suggest that the normal version, namely the OnePlus 10, may go further. In the meantime, we can take a look at the new details that have appeared in these hours.
OnePlus 10 with SoC Mediatek Dimensity 9000?
While the indications on the OnePlus 10 Pro are becoming more and more insistent a few hours after its debut, the situation of the OnePlus 10 is different. The less expensive model could be marketed in the coming months with some important differences compared to its older brother, starting right from the heart: instead of the already confirmed Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, onboard OnePlus 10 there could be a Mediatek Dimensity 9000.
The chipset in question was unveiled last November and can count on a 4 nm production process, an architecture based on Cortex-X2 clocked at 3.05 GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores of 2.85 GHz and four cores. Cortex-A510 1.8 GHz, and on an ARM Mali-G710 GPU. In short, it is still a high-end SoC.
Unfortunately, no other information has been leaked for now, but by now we take for granted a separate release for the two members of the OnePlus 10 family. Which of the two Android smartphones are you waiting for more? Are you aiming for the “real” flagship or the lower-priced model?
