Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are high-end flagships launched by Google in the second half of this year. The initial launch prices are US$599 and US$899. Since the launch of these two phones, The user found a lot of bugs.
On December 27th, according to Android Police, some users reported in the Reddit community that neither Google Pixel 6 nor Pixel 6 Pro can rotate automatically.
According to reports, the Google Pixel 6 series screen cannot rotate automatically. The problem seems to be that the device cannot read the data provided by the gyroscope, accelerometer and compass, which makes the device unable to detect whether the phone is placed horizontally or vertically.
To make matters worse, due to the existence of this bug, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro users cannot correctly display the direction the user is facing when using Google Maps to navigate. Coincidentally, the Google Pixel 6 series has also been exposed to bugs such as slow fingerprint recognition and Hulu screen.
Fortunately, Google has fixed these two problems. However, Google has not yet responded to the “cannot rotate automatically” bug.
