Nvidia has just launched the new RTX 3080 plan dedicated to GeForce NOW – which we told you about in our review -, thanks to which it is also possible to access Full HD at 120 fps from Android smartphones. Unfortunately at the moment, the selection of smartphones on which it is possible to use this option is really small, but it seems that Nvidia is already working to improve the compatibility of its service, according to what emerges from the latest innovations introduced silently.
The colleagues of XDA Developers have indeed found a very recent update of the list of compatible devices and among these is now also mentioned the brand new Pixel 6 Pro, the first non-Samsung smartphone to be able to offer the possibility to play up to 120 fps with cloud gaming. Nvidia (provided you have subscribed to the RTX 3080 subscription).
The fact that the Pixel 6 Pro was added without any official communication suggests that it is good to keep an eye on the official Nvidia support page periodically, as the company is likely to constantly update the list of devices without any warning. So if you are among the owners of a smartphone with a 120 Hz display and you have signed up for the new plan, keep your eyes peeled. If, on the other hand, you want to get an idea of the performance of the service, we leave you to the replay of our live-in which we put to the test!
