The Google developer team is having a lot of difficulties with the Google Pixel 6 series smartphones, whose users complain about various problems and, if most of the bugs have been solved with this month’s update, it seems that after the update one emerged concerning the mobile network.
While waiting for the Mountain View giant to find the cause of this bug and a solution to be implemented with a future update, the community that revolves around Google has already devised a do-it-yourself solution.
How to fix connectivity problem on Google Pixel 6
The remedy devised takes only a few minutes and, although there is no certainty that it will be effective for everyone, on the Net, there are several users who swear they have solved the problem.
What you have to do is join the beta program of Google’s Carrier Services app (in Italy called Operator Services ): this is possible by opening the Google Play Store, entering the name of the application in the search box, selecting it and at the bottom of the page by clicking on the appropriate button to take part in the beta (the process may take a few minutes).
The application must therefore be updated (closing the Google Play Store and reopening it, going to the page dedicated to Carrier Services, could make the process faster). At this point, the Google Pixel 6 connectivity problem may already be solved but it is better to perform some further operations, i.e. open the Settings menu, go to the section dedicated to applications, search for Carrier Services, force the app to stop, log in to storage to clear the data and restart the phone. Those who do not wish to join the beta program of the Carrier Services app can also download the relative APK file from APK Mirror ( here you will find the dedicated page ).
