The new Apple map update brings customized 3D landmarks to Philadelphia. In September of this year, Apple announced that Apple Maps will get a new feature-adding 3D navigation and exploration functions. The first cities to receive this feature include London, Los Angeles, New York, and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Now it’s Philadelphia’s turn, as Apple pointed out on the feature availability page of Apple Maps. Users there can now view the new 3D model of Philadelphia on their iPhone, iPad or Mac. Landmarks include the Fisher Art Library, 30th Street Station, One Liberty Square, Philadelphia City Hall, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Apple has been working hard to improve the map because it began to roll out new features to major cities around the world. On December 10th, Apple introduced an update for Australia, adding new features such as look around and sharing ETA-and improved existing navigation features.
