Non-Samsung smartwatches are expected to be upgraded to the Wear OS 3 system from next month. Before the official launch, a user in the Reddit sub-section u/amoledwatchfaces posted a screenshot of Wear OS 3, which can be seen on the Android Studio emulator used by the developer to test the application. These screenshots show that the new smartwatch operating system does not cover Samsung’s skin.
The UI does look cleaner, but it doesn’t seem to make a big difference. In addition to larger, more curved buttons and more colorful icons. The menu looks cleaner and more straightforward visually. Wear OS 3 is jointly developed by Samsung and Google, and is first equipped with Samsung’s smartwatch products.
