Battlefield 2042 is undoubtedly one of the most influential titles that have been released over the course of this year. The work, released only a little over a week ago, is enjoying some success, becoming the most played title on Steam despite having unfortunately been the victim of review bombing due to various problems.
One of the factors that have led users to so many complaints also concerns the decision of the developers not to implement a certain feature, and it seems that it has recently emerged that even another important element of the product has not received the care that the software house had in mind to dedicate it.
The element in question concerns the destruction of scenarios, an extremely important factor for titles of the genre, which helps to make the gaming experience even more immersive and interactive. The plan of the developers regarding this was to give total freedom to users to be able to vent their destructiveness on most of the structures present within the maps, including entire buildings or skyscrapers.

Well, it seems that unfortunately, DICE’s plans have been too ambitious, and therefore have not been successful. In fact, the developer explains that despite having talked about more impressive destruction of scenarios than those in the past, he had to back down on certain aspects for various problems. The reasons are actually quite understandable: first of all, it is a feature that not even today’s hardware could have held up properly. Secondly, they simply did not have enough time available to develop everything in the best way.
The fact that all of this has been temporarily ruled out does not negate the possibility that the plan may be resumed in the not too distant future when the timing and hardware are suitable. In the meantime, there is certainly no boring inside Battlefield 2042, which offers various ways to have fun, such as Portal mode for battle royale lovers.
