Microsoft is planning to develop a security center called Microsoft Defender for Windows 11 systems. Currently, there is not much information about this new security application for Windows 11, but it seems that Microsoft Defender will become the security hub/dashboard for all connected devices/products.
The Windows Security application has been built into the Windows 11/10 system, allowing any user to view the status of security services, and turn on/off security features, such as firewall settings and protection from unwanted programs.
According to the information currently available, the new Microsoft Defender will be designed and developed based on WinUI and Fluent Design, aiming to provide “seamless and personalized protection” for all connected accounts. From the looks of it, the preview version of Microsoft Defender may be the security dashboard of your device.
