In June of this year, Microsoft announced the new Microsoft Store in Windows 11. After testing for more than 3 months, the new Microsoft Store began to be opened to Windows 10 users in phases, and it is estimated that the deployment will be completed in the next few months.
If you are currently in the Release Preview channel of the Windows Insider project, and you are running Windows 10 Version 21H2, you can get the brand new Microsoft Store by updating. However, for those non-Windows Insider project users, you can also manually install the new version of the Microsoft Store in the following ways.
- Download the new version of the Microsoft Store from here.
- Open PowerShell.
- Use the cd command to navigate to the location where you saved the store update. For example, if the default download location of your browser is the download folder, enter cd C:\Users\username\Downloads.
- Enter Add-AppxPackage , the final command may be Add-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore_22110.1401.10.0_neutral___8wekyb3d8bbwe.Msixbundle.
