The team of WhatsApp developers is not engaged in a constant work of improving the application for Android devices only but also for the iOS one, as well as the Web client and the desktop app and the new features designed to make it more and more complete and pleasant user experience are introduced sometimes first in one platform and sometimes in another.
In the past few hours, for example, with the 2.21.200.11 version of WhatsApp Beta for iOS, the developers have introduced some improvements for the functionality of the disappearing message. As we learn from WABetaInfo, there are two in particular innovations introduced and the first of them is probably the most interesting: we refer to the possibility of choosing after how long the messages must disappear with more options available (i.e. 24 hours, 7 days and 90 days).
The second novelty, on the other hand, concerns the possibility of setting a default timer for new conversations (this through the appropriate section dedicated to Privacy in the WhatsApp settings menu) and this will mean that all new chats will have the disappearing messages activated for the duration. automatic performance (this setting will not affect single and group chats previously started).
These new features are available on WhatsApp Beta for iOS and WhatsApp Business Beta for iOS but should soon also be introduced in the beta version dedicated to Android devices. Just have a little patience.
