Safari 15 browser will be released with macOS Monterey later this year. Its main new features include redesigned tabs, grouped tabs, and automatically switch the site from HTTP to more when available. Secure HTTPS, faster performance, improved security, etc.
Last week, Apple released Safari 15 for macOS Big Sur and macOS Catalina. According to MacRumors, some users encountered several bugs when using Safari 15. First, on macOS Big Sur and macOS Monterey beta, users bookmarking a YouTube page in Safari 15 will cause the browser to crash.
The temporary solution is to create a bookmark folder for YouTube videos, and then drag the YouTube page to the folder in the sidebar of Safari. In addition, some users claim that Safari 15 cannot open some websites normally, and affected users will receive a problem repeatedly occurred error message.
For this situation, users can temporarily disable JavaScript in the browser settings, click Safari > Preferences… > Security in the macOS menu bar and uncheck the EnableJavaScript box. The permanent solution is to re-download and install the Safari 15 package from the Apple server.
