MOD author Makarus launched a Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas image quality overhaul MOD SA_DirectX 2.0 in August 2018. Earlier this week, the author released the latest 3.0 beta version of this mod.
A_DirectX 3.0 Beta adds reflection effects (SSR), volumetric clouds, screen-space reflections, SSAO, holy light and raindrop effects. In addition, the MOD has some light adjustments and optimizations.
However, this beta version needs to participate in crowdfunding rewards before it can be used. Makarus plans to release it to the public after the version is stable. Interested players can download the previous version first.
The MOD author also released a demo video of this MOD, you can intuitively see the picture effect. Since the previous version of the MOD has not been requested to be removed by Take-Two, the new version of the MOD should also be safe. In theory, this is the case.
