Age of Empires 4 will start technical testing from September 17th to 20th. Recently, game creative director Adam Isgreen accepted an interview with PCGamesn and talked about his thoughts on Age of Empires 4 DLC. He said that the DLC will provide diverse content for players of different tastes.
Adam Isgreen said: We divide the players into several categories. For example, for players who like to compete, what can we offer them? Will we provide them when the game is released or after it is released? For players who like battles, we sell in the game What can we provide when or after the release? For players who like to play Mod, what kind of Mod tools can we make? In order to satisfy players with different tastes, we are making diversified content.
Adam Isgreen also said: Our plan is to launch content that they like for players of different tastes. But we won’t launch a lot of content all at once, right?
Isgreen pointed out that they still have a lot of work to do, such as releasing new patches to add new features, adjusting levelness, and adding new civilizations. They want to find a clever balance, but they don’t make players wait too long, everyone can see what they are looking forward to. For example, awesome, new maps or new creatures will appear this week, etc.
Adam Isgreen also reiterated that the Age of Empires 4 multiplayer game will be divided into different seasons, and there will be major balance adjustments before each season starts. Age of Empires 4 will land on the PC platform on October 28th and join XGP for the first time.
