The Unicode Consortium today announced a list of new emojis that appeared in the Emoji 14 update, and we will see these new characters on the iPhone 13 series released today. Citing a report from Emojipedia, the most finalized list of the Unicode Consortium includes 37 new Emojis and 75 skin color additions, for a total of 112 new Emojis.
The new facial expressions include a melting face, a saluting face, a face with open eyes and hands covering your mouth, a peeking face, a slanted face, and a dotted face, while the new Emoji includes lip biting and foam. There are several new hand Emojis, such as a heart-shaped hand, a right hand, a left hand, a palm-down hand, a palm-up hand, a hand with the index finger and thumb crossed, and a hand with the index finger pointing at the audience. There is an updated handshake emoji.
Other newly added Emojis include bird’s nests with eggs, empty nests, X-rays, walking sticks, playground slides, wheels, ring buoys, hamsa, mirror balls, jars, ID cards and low batteries, while plants and animals will include Coral and lotus. As for the characters in the fantasy, we can expect a new troll emoji, and eggs, beans and watering fluid constitute a new food item.
