Sony has acquired Insomniac Games in 2019, and the Spider-Man sequel was also developed by it.

PlayStation 5 has sold more than 10 million units since its launch in November last year, and supply restrictions have affected sales. Sony hopes that the game shown on Thursday will continue the good momentum until next year and beyond. Some of the games shown on Thursday will not be released until 2023 or later, such as the sequel to Spider-Man and Wolverine.
Some games will land on PlayStation 5 and PC in the spring of next year, such as the new racing game Gran Turismo and the open-world action game Forspoken.
