YouTube Premium subscribers get 3 months of Stadia Pro for free

Those who subscribe to YouTube Premium will be able to play for free on Stadia for three months. Google’s subscribers can take advantage of the Stadia Pro subscription. This formula gives you access to a library of games that are replenished monthly.

Google comes with a new promotion for users of YouTube premium, which is the subscription that removes advertising on YouTube and at the same time offers the music service YouTube Music. Subscribers are now entitled to three months of free gaming on Stadia Pro, according to an article on the Stadia Community Blog.

The Stadia Pro subscription lets you claim well-known game titles and then stream those games for free on the cloud gaming service Stadia. After the three-month period, you will have to take out a paid subscription of 9.99 euros to regain access to your games, but the progress in the games will be saved. You can play on Stadia via the Chrome browser, with the Stadia app on your phone, on Android TV, or with Chromecast Ultra on your TV. To play, connect an old controller or play with a mouse and keyboard on the PC.

The new promotion is valid for Dutch subscribers, but only if you have not previously used another promotion that allowed you to test Stadia Pro. All terms and conditions are described in this Google’s support message.

Google is looking for new ways to showcase its YouTube and Stadia subscriptions, and it seems that Google is increasingly trying to pool the resources of its various services. It was previously announced that subscribers to the cloud service Google One will soon be able to take Play Pass with a discount. That’s Google’s subscription to the Play Store. It is not yet known when that offer will be available.
