The possibility that the Google phone makes it possible to record calls on compatible smartphones will have spoken far and wide for the past several months. Some users on Xiaomi smartphones, you will remember, can take advantage of Google Phone to automatically record phone calls from unknown numbers, but it is at this time the news that the feature is finally arriving on Pixel smartphones.
In fact, from the first information published by Android Police colleagues, some users with Google Pixel 3 XL and Google Pixel 4a smartphones have identified the appropriate functionality within the Google Phone settings, under the heading Call recording, as shown from the images below.
From what we know, the feature would be appearing on compatible smartphones and especially in countries where call recording is legal. In this regard, the users who have found the function are residents of India using the beta version 68.0.388241074 of Google Phone.
The official Google support page explains in detail how to use the aforementioned functionality, but at the moment we have no news about the possibility of using it also in Italy with Pixel smartphones. For the more adventurous, the beta version of Google Phone is available at this address of APK Mirror.
