Last month, Apple launched a beta version of the beta software for all users who want to preview iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS 12 Monterey, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15. Now, the company is seeking to expand the beta test scale and has sent email notifications to users who have subscribed to the latest version of the beta test experience.
As we approach the Beta 5 testing phase of major systems, Apple also seems to think it is time to expand the scale of the public beta. The company wrote in the email:
- Public beta versions of iOS 15, iPad OS 15, macOS Monterey, tvOS 15, and watchOS 8 are now available.
- As a member of Apple’s Beta Software Program, you can share your ideas on how to improve Apple’s software by experiencing the pre-release version.
- It is reported that the public beta preview not only allows everyone to predict the new changes in a few weeks but also helps Apple fix the bugs introduced in the update in time.
In iOS 15, iPadOS 15 and macOS 12 Monterey, Apple is improving the FaceTime experience, bringing improvements to the SharePlay/Share tab, and introducing a new focus mode. At the same time, Safari also ushered in the biggest user interface (UI) refresh so far, watchOS 8 brings more exercise tutorials, an always-on display, and a new version of the Find My search application.
tvOS 15 supports Spatial Audio support for Apple TV+ programs when wearing AirPods true wireless headphones, and HomePod mini can also be used as stereo speakers to output. Finally, users who have registered for the Apple Beta software program can continue to receive future minor version updates (such as iOS 15.1) after the official release of iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS 12 Monterey, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15.
