Samsung has officially rolled out the August 2021 patch update for the Galaxy S21 lineup international variant on the build number G99xBXXU3AUGM (Germany).

Samsung Galaxy S21 mobile was launched on 14th January 2021. The phone comes with a 6.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels at a pixel density of 421 pixels per inch (PPI) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Samsung Galaxy S21 is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 2100 processor that features 3 cores clocked at 2.8GHz, 4 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 1 core clocked at 2.9GHz. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S21 runs Android 11 and is powered by a 4000mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy S21 supports wireless charging, as well as proprietary fast charging.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy S21 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 12-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a pixel size of 1.8-micron; a 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.4-micron, and a 64-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a pixel size of 0.8-micron. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 10-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.22-micron.
Like every month, Samsung now released the August 2021 security patch update ahead of June month. The first device to grabbed this update is the Galaxy A52 and now this time turns for Galaxy S21 lineup. This software update is currently rolled out in Hong Kong with a download size of 313MB.
As per the report this software update carries firmware numbers G9980ZHUWAUGE, G9960ZHUWAUGE, and G9981ZHUWAUGE for the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 respectively.
Owners of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Note 9 can receive notification of this update. By chance you don’t receive an update notification then check the update manually by going to the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
