Samsung will release a series of new smartphones, smartwatches, and true wireless headsets during the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 11. Unexpectedly, the YouTube channel of The Mobile Central managed to get the Galaxy Buds 2 that has not yet been officially released, and shared a short unboxing + hands-on experience video. Let us experience it together below:
As can be seen from the video, Galaxy Buds 2 uses a simple shape design, based on the smooth finish, using a new color scheme. Each headphone body has two drive units, low frequency + high frequency. There are also 3 microphones in 2 external + 1 internal to provide a better active noise reduction experience.
In terms of color matching, Galaxy Buds 2 provides four options of black, white, purple, and green, with a white rectangular battery storage box on the outside, and the same color scheme as the headphones purchased by the user on the inside.
Although the battery capacity of the headset body has been reduced from 85 mAh to 61 mAh, the charging storage box has been greatly increased from 270 mAh to 472 mAh, and it supports wireless charging. When the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) function is turned on/off, the battery life is 18/28 hours respectively.
Finally, it is reported that Galaxy Buds 2 has an IPX7 waterproof rating, which means it can last for 30 minutes in 1 meter of water. In addition, WalkingCat shared the detailed specifications of the headset, which is expected to be priced at around 159 Euros.
