According to Bloomberg News, although Apple CEO Tim Cook’s income last year was higher than the previous year, he fell to eighth on the list of the highest-paid CEOs and executives in the United States.
Cook’s revenue in 2020 is 265 million U.S. dollars. As in previous years, it mainly includes stock awards and bonuses, making him the eighth highest-paid executive in the United States. According to the Fortune Global 500 rankings, Cook brought Apple $274.515 billion in revenue and $57.411 billion in profits, helping Apple become the world’s most profitable company in 2020.
In 2020, Cook will be surpassed by the COO of Oak Street Health, the CEO of Palantir Technologies, the CEO of Opendoor Technologies and the co-CEO of GoodRx Holdings in terms of revenue. Tesla CEO Elon Musk once again topped the list with an overwhelming advantage of $6.658 billion in revenue.
Apple’s senior vice president of retail and personnel Deirdre O’Brien and senior vice president and general counsel Kate Adams also ranked 93rd and 96th with revenue of $45 million. This makes O’Brien and Adams the fourth and fifth highest-paid female executives in the United States.
