Apple today announced two games that will be launched on the Apple Arcade platform, including the classic racing game Asphalt 8: Speed Rising Clouds from Gameloft, and the new Zelda-style role-playing game Baldo from NAPS in Italy. The former first landed on the App Store in 2013, but Apple has not disclosed the specific date when it joined the Apple Arcade subscription.
As a popular racing game, Asphalt 8: Ariborne provides players with more than 240 real cars, covering Ferrari, Ducati, Lamborghini, McLaren, Bugatti, Mercedes, Audi, Ford, Chevrolet and other automakers and brands.
As for Baldo, it is described as an action-adventure role-playing game based on an open world, which contains elements such as decryption, adventure, and combat. Players will embark on a land full of mystery and experience a wonderful journey when completing the main and many side missions. The game is scheduled to be launched on Apple Arcade on August 27.
This Friday, the platform will also welcome another racing game (Detonation Racing) from Electric Square. Finally, the monthly subscription fee for Apple Arcade is $4.99 (or $49.99 per year). Players can access about 200 game libraries on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, enjoy the benefits of no ads and in-app purchases, and Apple will add more games regularly.
