Techdows reported that starting from Chrome 94, Google will no longer present all the browser settings in one mind. Obviously, Google hopes that users will only display a small part each time during navigation operations to reduce the clutter of information and by default, it will display some pages related to it when the user visits it.
In the latest version of Chrome Canary, Google is testing the redesign of the Settings Landing Page for Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS platforms. Specifically, Chrome 94 will display the You and Google page by default instead of all the setting options.
In addition, Google Chrome provides users with settings for customization, configuration, privacy and security control, and how the browser works. When you enter the Settings page, Chrome will display all the parts on a long page, which can be scrolled.
Whether it is cross-device content synchronization, custom configuration files, or clear browsing data, you will be able to easily complete management operations. This includes changing the search engine or language settings or resetting the Chrome browser through the chrome://settings page.
Interested friends, please refer to the following operations:
- Visit the Chrome://flags page in Chrome Canary;
- Enable the redesigned settings landing page’ mark;
- Restart the browser to see this change.
After the operation is completed, Google will only display a small part of the settings page by default. For example, when you click Autofill, it will only display the part related to the autofill setting. In addition, other settings have similar changes, such as security check, privacy and security, appearance, search engine, default browser, startup, language, and download and accessibility. Going forward, set an experimental version of the page, or also allow users to access and view specific sections without having to scroll to the bottom of the page.
