The official international version of PUBG Mobile recently launched a brand new skin. However, many players don’t seem to buy it around this skin: its name is suspected to be copied from other game works. It is reported that the name of this skin is Hypnospace Diva.
The Hypnospace in the name is actually not a formal English word. The first to use this vocabulary is a version called Hypnospace Outlaw. (Dream Fanatics) work; in addition, its skin color is also highly similar to the main view of this game.
ok i guess i’ll make a more direct quote tweet and say that it sucks that PUBG have stolen Hypnospace’s name to sell a tacky costume. the color choices seem to pull from our key art as well. https://t.co/OIkioEHWRN pic.twitter.com/hJrMdIwvxP

This behavior eventually caught the attention of Jay Tholen, the game producer of Dream Fanatics, who expressed his anger on this plagiarism incident on Twitter and communicated with the official. Today, Jay Tholen said on Twitter: PUBG officials have communicated with them.
After multiple verifications, it was found that the name was actually a localization error-the original Chinese name of this skin was Golden Diva, but because many members of the English localization team knew and thought of a famous name It is a game of Dream Fanatics, so it was renamed Hypnospace, but I didn’t realize the possible consequences after the name change. Currently, PUBG officially confirmed that the name of this skin will be changed.
