The Edge Dev channel ushered in the new version 93.0.946.1 again this week. The new version brings some new features, including uploading payment card information to Microsoft accounts and synchronizing between devices. In the update log, it also mentioned the new email to myself option in the share menu.
An experimental Flag for the Windows 11 user interface has been added to the Edge Dev version. The logo found last week can be enabled on both Windows 10 and Windows 11. It enables rounded corners in the browser’s UI elements, but Mica elements can only be viewed in Windows 11.
For PWAs and websites installed as applications for the first time, there is a new dialog box that prompts the user to pin the application to the start menu or taskbar. When using vertical labels, the title bar is now hidden by default.
The following is a list of new features of Edge Dev 93.0.946.1:
- Added the ability to upload payment card information from the web to your Microsoft account for synchronization between different devices. Please note that this is currently only available in the United States.
- Added the ability to directly share websites to email or social media websites through sharing tools.
- After installing the PWA or website as an application, a dialog box has been added, allowing easy access to the function of pinning the application to the taskbar, start menu or desktop.
- Added a flag to enable visual changes for Windows 11.
- The setting to hide the title bar when vertical labels are enabled is enabled by default.

- Fixed the issue that payment card nicknames were not synchronized.
- Fixed an issue where clicking the link on the work account to change the picture of the account will not load a page where the picture can be changed.

- Fixed the problem that Shy UI on Mac sometimes does not work or is partially obscured.
- Fixed an issue that once the efficiency mode pop-up window is pinned, it cannot be unpinned.
- Fixed an issue: when the download shouldn’t be blocked by SmartScreen, it was accidentally blocked.
- Fixed an issue, that is, the management policy that controls whether to enable the traditional cookie behavior of the same website does not work. Please note that this strategy will be removed in a future version.
- The management strategy for controlling whether to allow automatic playback has been changed. If the policy is set to False, the autoplay setting is now set to restrict rather than block to improve site compatibility.
- Abolish TLS 1.0 and 1.1 versions in the SSL Version Min management policy.
