Microsoft has now launched two Dev preview versions of Windows 11, bringing a new start menu, animation, rounded corners and so on. The setting application of Windows 11 is also constantly evolving, becoming more beautiful and containing more features.
According to the latest news, the settings of Windows 11 will be more intelligent, and the setting options will be recommended for users. For example, if the user turns off the screen or sets the sleep to Never, the setting will remind the user that this will shorten the battery life, and there is a button on the right to restore the recommended settings with one click.
In addition, setting recommended reminders is not only applicable to system settings. When the Microsoft 365 subscription is about to expire, the settings will also pop up a prompt box and help users to renew with one click on the right.
Windows 11 settings will also have a built-in hard drive health reminder. If the user’s NVMe SSD solid-state drive has possible hardware risks, the settings application will remind the user to replace the hard drive and make a backup in advance.
Currently, the hard disk health reminder function is only available for NVMe SSDs. Health reminders for other types of hard disks may be provided later.
