IDC’s data also shows that Apple’s PC shipments (excluding tablets) in India in the first quarter increased by 335.5% year-on-year, only lagging behind Asustek by about 2,000 units. In the first quarter, Apple and Asustek tied for fifth in the ranking of Indian PC brands. In India, the performance of Apple’s tablets is even better. Although tablet shipments in India fell by 34% year-on-year in the first quarter, Apple ranked second with a 29% share.
