Raven Software has launched a new Call of Duty: Warzone update that weakens the MG 82 light machine gun. This weapon was launched in the 4th season update of The War Zone on June 17, and players quickly thought it was a very powerful option.
Only within 24 hours of the update, the official tweeted an announcement to inform players that this weapon is about to be weakened: MG 82 has been strengthened too many times in the Pack-a-Punch machine before entering Verdansk.
The new MG82 is pure cheese. I smell the fastest nerf incoming.

In addition, this update also fixes many bugs, including the “Death Door” that we have previously reported: In the game if a player touches a locked door, they will be knocked to the ground immediately.
The MG 82 (BOCW) made one too many trips to the Pack-a-Punch machine before deploying to Verdansk.
Element 115 is off limits in #Warzone so we will be making an adjustment to this Weapon soon. ☢️

In addition to the fixed bugs:
- Fixed an issue that caused some players to restart the game to unlock the battle pass presented by others.
- Fixed an issue where level skipping could not be used correctly when receiving the gifted Battle Pass bundle.
- Fixed an issue that caused players to lose control of their operator after passing through the red door if other players died while passing through the red door.
- Fixed an issue where the use of certain QBZ-83 (BOCW) blueprints would cause the player’s game to crash.
