In today’s updated Xbox application, Microsoft announced a meteor feature inspired by major social networks. The long-awaited Android/iOS users will be able to see various series of game brand stories in the Xbox App, such as Forza Motorsport, Halo, and Sea of Thieves.

Judging from the screenshots shared on Twitter by the Xbox official account, the interface design of Game Stories is very similar to SNS platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat. However, unlike the above SNS App, Xbox also provides buttons (and corresponding numbers) for likes, shares, and comments at the bottom of the Game Stories section of the mobile user.

Interested friends can see the official brand story introduction from the game developer under the game title card of the Xbox Mobile App (Rather than getting relevant information from posts posted by friends like social networks).
After the update in October last year, we saw the debut of the new UI on the Xbox game console. After that, Microsoft has continued to expand the functionality of the application. If you like to hear the latest news from game studios, this may also be a good focus. As for whether Microsoft will allow ordinary players to post content on the Xbox mobile App, it is currently unknown.
