According to the latest reports, in iOS 15, Apple introduced more fine-grained control over people and places in Photos Memories, which allows users to adjust the random appearance in the Photos app and photo widgets.
When viewing a piece of memory in the For You section of Photo, the user has been able to select Suggest Fewer Memories Like This or delete one from the photo suggestion completely Photos, but now you can choose to highlight a specific person less.
I’m not a very petty person but is it possible for your iPhone to *not* feature photos of your exes or do I have to go through my photos and delete them manually like a caveman

When viewing the Recommended for You section of the Photos app, users can press someone’s photo for a long time and then select the Feature This Person Less option to prevent this person from appearing frequently. The Remove From Featured Photos option can prevent specific photos from appearing again.
When an unpleasant memory comes up, such as a memory of an ex-partner or a place with negative associations, these new control features will come in handy. For years, people have been complaining about the memory feature in the Photos app and some of the people it chooses under this feature.

The Suggest fewer memories like this option previously provided in iOS 14 for the memory slide has been renamed to Feature Less. Users can select specific people, dates, and locations to reduce The number of times in the memory.
It is also worth noting that in the recall slideshow suggested by Apple, users can now also click the grid button on the toolbar to enter a view that displays all photos at once. Just long-press it to get a “Hide from Memory” option to make it disappear.
These new features can be used in the photo app, and the current version is iOS 15beta. It is reported that iOS 15 will undergo a few months of beta testing, and then will be released this fall.
