Samsung Display will participate in the SID Display Week 2021 online exhibition sponsored by the International Information Display Society (SID), showcasing S-foldable displays (S-foldable) and sliding displays Next-generation OLED technologies such as Slidable and UPC.
Samsung Display will introduce the S-shaped foldable display through video. It uses OLED technology and is a product that can be folded multiple times-twice inside and outside. It can be used as a smartphone when folded, and like a tablet when fully unfolded.
In addition, Samsung Display will also showcase a 17-inch foldable display. When this product is folded at a screen ratio of 4:3, it can present a screen the size of a tablet; when unfolded, it is a 17-inch display-level screen.

Sliding display products can stretch the screen in the horizontal direction while maintaining the appearance of existing smartphones to give full play to the advantages of large screens. Samsung said it is only the size of a normal smartphone. “When the screen is stretched, you can perform multitasking or large-screen video and content appreciation.”
For the under-screen camera, Samsung said that this is a full-screen technology. By installing the front camera under the display, the transmittance of the display of the camera module is increased to ensure the camera function, thereby minimizing the top frame and maximizing the display screen.
