Samsung Galaxy A30 is now up for upgrade to the latest Android 11/One UI 3.1 update. This information is confirmed in the Wi-Fi Alliance database. According to the information, the Galaxy A30, model number SM-A305F/DS phone is running Android 11, as seen in the screenshot below.
Samsung’s original plan for the Galaxy A30 was to update the device with One UI 3.0 in July 2021, at least in Egypt. However, the upcoming update will most likely be based on One UI 3.1 instead of version 3.0, and it could arrive earlier than July, seeing how a few Galaxy devices that were listed on the original roadmap have been updated ahead of time.
The Samsung Galaxy A30 features a 6.4-inch full HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Internally, the smartphone packs an Exynos 7904 octa-core SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The Galaxy A30 offers a dual-rear camera setup, including one 16-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus ultra-wide camera. On the front, there can be a 25-megapixel selfie sensor.
