YouTube has just launched updated iOS and Android users, mainly introducing more video resolution options. For users who are accustomed to watching videos on the go, they can switch between three different modes, including quality priority, traffic saving, and intelligent judgment of the current network connection.
Previously, YouTube users have provided a default automatic mode to automatically adjust the resolution of streaming videos according to the current Internet access speed to provide the best viewing experience. The High-Quality mode consumes more data without using a Wi-Fi connection. If you need to further save data overhead, you can choose the default 720p gear, or downgrade to 480p.

However, after this update, YouTube users also provide more detailed low-resolution options and can maintain the setting of not downloading/streaming high-definition videos for a period of time. Considering that in real life, not many consumers can afford unlimited packages, this improvement is still quite friendly to the wallets of the majority of YouTube users.
