Last year, Microsoft introduced experience improvements to the “Favorites”, “History” and “Downloads” pages of the new Edge browser to make it easy for users to manage. In the recent Edge Canary 91.0.851.0 and later versions, the company has brought further improvements in ease of access. Specifically, users will have more new ways to quickly access all the “favorites”, “history” and “download” pages in the browser.
First, Edge Insider testers can now open the entire page by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking the “Favorites”, “History” or “Download” buttons on the toolbar. Secondly, Edge Canary provides a mouse wheel or right-click on a specific button to access more menus in the toolbar (pop up “…”).
As a supplement to the existing options, users can choose to open a specific page. In addition, Reddit netizens also shared their new discovery. As pointed out by r/Leopeva64-2, the Edge Insider development team has also improved the “Appearance” page in the “Settings”.

This will allow users to choose which buttons appear on the toolbar, and they will be able to change the font settings in the browser. As always, this experience improvement is currently only open to members of the Edge Insider test project, and the Canary channel will receive priority pushes. If all goes well, the above changes are expected to be introduced into Edge Dev and stable channels in the next few months.
