Today, Microsoft released the PowerToys v0.35.0 update, which mainly improved localization and added FancyZones feature. Microsoft also stated that the Video Conference tool will be launched in the next version (0.36.0).
PowerToys v0.35 Complete Update Log:
Conventional
- PowerToys will start to require Windows 10 v1903 and higher after the release of 0.35.x. The v1 settings that support older versions of Windows will be removed in 0.37.
Note: Microsoft may restore support when migrating to WinUI3, but for now, Microsoft will increase the minimum version of Windows to 1903 or higher.

- Fix the regression problem of “Run as user” in the installer.

- Added hotkeys and quick swap functions for custom layouts! Users can now specify a hotkey in the editor and bind it with Ctrl + Win + Alt + NUMBER, or press the hotkey while dragging the window Quickly set the area of the desktop.

PowerToys Run
- The user can specify where to display the launcher window.
- Added plug-ins to support opening of previously used Visual Studio Code workspaces, remote machines (SSH or Codespaces) and containers! After enabling, use {to query the available workspace. After enabling, use {to query the available workspace. Please note that this plugin is turned off by default.
- Shell history records now save original commands instead of parsed commands. Commands like %appdata% will now be saved in the Shell history instead of C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming.
