Xiaomi’s spring new product launch conference was held on March 29. Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro/Ultra and Youth Edition were released. With a thickness of 6.81mm and a weight of only 159g, the Mi 11 Youth Edition is one of the thinnest 5G mobile phones on the market. This mobile phone first launched the Snapdragon 780G chip, built-in 4250mAh large battery, the price starts at $350.
The important point not mentioned at the press conference is that the Mi 11 Youth Edition supports MicroSD expansion cards, and the three-choice two-card slot at the bottom of the phone supports dual Nano-SIM cards or one SIM card + one Micro SD card, with a maximum capacity of 1TB.
Other phones in the Mi 11 series do not support MicroSD cards. In addition, the phone’s NFC, infrared remote control, linear motor and other features have not shrunk. As can be seen from the official rendering of the phone’s interior, there is indeed a row of Micro SD card contacts at the bottom of the phone. This feature is very rare in the domestic smartphone market. The Motorola edge s previously released also supports Micro SD expansion cards, with a maximum capacity of 1TB.

It can also be seen from the rendering that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Youth Edition uses a non-polar ear lithium battery similar to the Mi 11 Pro, but it does not indicate whether it uses nano-silicon negative battery technology. However, the 4250mAh battery is plugged into the 6.81mm thick fuselage, which already reflects Xiaomi’s design capabilities.
In terms of parameters, the Mi 11 Youth Edition is equipped with a 6.55-inch AMOLED flexible screen, supports 1.07 billion color displays, has HDR 10+ certification, and supports Dolby Vision. The screen has a refresh rate of 90Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, and a global brightness of 800nit.
The Mi 11 Youth Edition is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G processor and is built with a 5nm process. The mobile phone has a comprehensive running score of 560,000. It also has a “Bingfeng” heat dissipation system, built-in heat pipe and large-area graphite heat sink.
This phone also has dual stereo speakers, Hi-Res certification, and supports high-definition recording 2.0 technology. The official said that the MIUI 12.5 system adapted to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Youth Edition will be pushed through OTA in June this year.
Mi 11 Youth Edition offers a variety of color options, 8+128GB is priced at $350, and 8+256GB is priced at 2,599 yuan. It is currently available for pre-sale in Xiaomi Mall, JD.com and other channels, and will be on sale at 0:00 on April 16.
