According to user reports, Microsoft’s latest patch for Windows 10 printer issues does not work for everyone and caused another printing issue. The affected update packages are Windows 10 KB5000802 (March patch), Windows 10 KB5001567 (BSOD hotfix) and other updates released from March 9th to 16th.
It was reported last week that the cumulative update of Windows 10 in March 2021 caused serious problems including “APC_INDEX_MISMATCH” and “win32kfull.sys” blue screens, especially for users who use printers.
On March 15th, Microsoft released 4 optional “emergency” updates-KB5001567, KB5001566, KB5001568, and KB5001565 to solve the printing problems encountered by some users in the 20H2 version, 2004 version, 1909 version and older versions recently. And the blue screen problem. According to user reports, the Windows 10 hot patch can also cause the printer at work and software-based printing to crash.
“We have no BSOD problem, but when printing photos, only some of these photos appear on paper. Also, when printing invoices, there is only text but no graphics. Sometimes these printers print blank labels. The KB5001567 patch does not solve it. These two main printing problems.
“I assume that this hot patch, which was updated not long ago, fixed some of the problems that caused the blue screen, but I did not see any printing problems resolved. Incredibly, this is the same problem that many people encountered last year after installing the June 2020 cumulative update, which was supposed to solve the performance problem.
