OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will be equipped with Snapdragon 888, as the company announced yesterday, the Pro model will have a fancy 5-layer “game-level” cooling. These two phones will be unveiled next week, but Tech Maniacs managed to get a device and conducted a benchmark test. OnePlus 9 Pro scored more than 660,000 points on AnTuTu.
In the latest rankings, mobile phones equipped with Snapdragon 888 usually dominate the performance. However, they usually score below 700,000 or above 600,000. The Xiaolong 870 carrying red rice K40– not an upgraded version of the flagship chip – can even get 668,000 results.

Similarly, this test was conducted on the device before the release, so the score may not be representative. If anything, the temperature of 41ºC looks encouraging-maybe a “game-grade” cooling system is doing its job.
