According to Bloomberg News, Apple may release a new iPad Pro model in early April and will update the iPad mini and entry-level iPad sometime this year. The report pointed out that the new Apple iPad Pro uses the Thunderbolt interface in the test, which is the same as the new Mac interface equipped with the Apple processor (M1) and supports connection with other displays, hard drives and external devices.
Compared with the USB-C technology used in current models, this interface is faster in synchronizing data. Bloomberg also confirmed that the new iPad Pro will bring better performance and camera functions.

“The new model will be similar to the current iPad Pro and will use the same 11-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes.” Consistent with previous reports, the larger model will use a mini-LED display.
The report revealed that Apple will launch a “thinner and lighter” version of the entry-level iPad later this year, and the new iPad mini may also come out “as early as this year”, with a display larger than the current 7.9 inches screen.
