Xiaomi MIUI 12 was unveiled in the month of April this year since then the company has been rolling out the beta and stable update to many of its selected smartphones worldwide.
Now here is some breaking news for the Redmi Y3, Redmi 7, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphone users that the company will not send MIUI 12 updates on these phones.

In the MIUI 12 launch conference, the company has shared a list of eligible MIUI 12 devices with a separate round 1 and round 2 which you can see in the article linked here.
In the list, Xiaomi added the devices which were launched in the last two years but unfortunately, the devices Redmi Y3, Redmi 7, Redmi 6, and Redmi 6A also been launched at the same period but the company has now officially removed them for MIUI 12 update.
According to the official statement, these smartphones are not compatible with the latest MIUI 12 update because the performance and stability matter a lot.
For those who are not aware, MIUI 12 on Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO smartphones differ by models. Not all devices support every feature and the availability of certain features differs by region as well. Because MIUI is a heavy Android skin like any other Chinese mobile UI, it requires more strength.
