SpaceX CEO Elon Musk announced on Friday, SpaceX launch pad has begun construction of its starship in Florida, to add a new location to launch this giant rocket under development. Musk tweeted: The construction of the orbital launch pad for the interstellar spacecraft at Cape Canaveral has begun.
Musk said last month that SpaceX hopes to launch the first prototype of an interplanetary spacecraft from Texas in January or February next year. This is SpaceX’s next major step in the development of interstellar spacecraft and is currently awaiting regulatory approval.
